Integrated Health Services (IHS) is operating 111 health facilities under Public Private Partnership (PPP) with the Government of Sindh in 20 districts. These facilities include 105 Rural Health Centers (RHCs) and 6 Tehsil Headquarter hospitals (THQs). In the first phase, implementation started in October 2016 in Larkana division covering 25 facilities in 5 districts including Larkana, Jacobabad, Kambar, Kashmor and Shikarpur.
42 additional facilities spread across 12 districts were handed over to IHS in October 2017. From infrastructure to HR and supplies, IHS has revamped these facilities in a short period of time. There has been a remarkable increase in patient turnover due to availability of quality 24/7 health services, totally free of cost.
