OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH For Industrial Sector (one day course)

This Occupational Health Course lasts seven hours and is suitable for staff training on your own premises. We also run courses open to individuals at our Islamabad, Rawalpindi & Lahore training rooms.

It is ideally suited for factory workers especially in the chemical, tobacco, fertilizer, glass and textile industry. Courses for automobile, heavy machinery, steel and other industries are also available.

We provide all teaching material and each candidate is given a course manual.

Course leader is Occupational Health specialist Dr. Asim Mahmood Khan, who has a Masters in Occupational Health and is Member of the Royal Society of Health, UK with over eight years of experience in conducting different trainings.

The cost of an individual place on a course is Rs. 2,500. The cost of a course for a group of twelve to twenty persons on your premises (any where in Pakistan) is Rs. 25,000 for the whole group.

Boarding, lodging and traveling expense of IHS trainers are borne by the client in case of on site courses outside Islamabad. Arrangement of multi media and lunch during the course is also the responsibility of the client. Please contact us to arrange times and dates.

  6. Control of Air Contaminants 
  7. Skin Irritants-Dermatitis, Control
  8. Ingestion
  9. Physical Hazards: Noise, Radiation, Temperature Extremes, Barometric Pressure, Humidity Extremes, Illumination, Vibration, Laser, Infra red, UV light
  10. Biological Hazards & Control
  11. Ergonomic Hazards & Control
  12. Pre and Post Employment Medical Examination
  13. Occupational Health Management Plan
