LABORATORY SERVICES
IHS is operating a
'Sample Collection Service' in Islamabad &
Rawalpindi city areas on a round the clock
basis.
We
have contracts with
the top labs of the country to whom we feed
samples collected through Home Care and Corporate
Health Division.
We have our own lab
facilities "Integrated Lab
Services" (ILS) located in Islamabad I-8 markaz.
Facilities for all routine
tests and screening for HIV, Hepatitis B & C through
state of the art ELISA technology is available. The
hallmark of our lab services is accuracy and
reliability besides ability to conduct almost 90% of
the routine tests on round the clock basis. 24hr
operations of the lab enable us to cater to our
clients need at all times in the shortest possible
duration. Dr. Kamran Masood is the Pathologist
in-charge of the lab while Mr. Muhammad Sajjad is the
Chief Lab Technician.
To ensure minimum
hassle and peace of
mind trained phlebotomists are available round the
clock to collect the
samples from where ever you are (in Islamabad &
Rawalpindi urban area) and also
deliver reports at your door step. Basically you do not

VACCINATION SERVICES
With specialized
vaccination centers in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock,
Lahore, Multan, Peshawar and Karachi IHS cover’s all
vaccine preventable diseases and has the largest
private sector network of immunization services in the
country.
IHS conducts vaccinations either through static centers or by
mobile teams. During the last ten years almost a million
persons have been vaccinated. Emphasis is laid on
those vaccinations that are usually missed, like
Hepatitis, Typhoid, Meningitis, MMR, Chicken Pox, etc.
Through state of the art
software it is ensured that all patients are reminded of their due
dates so that they get their doses at the right time.
Only fresh stocks of World Health Organization
approved vaccines are used under strict cold chain
maintenance. Mainly vaccines manufactured by Glaxo
Smithkline are used. IHS provides vaccination against
the following diseases:
Through literature,
lectures and seminars awareness is created on the
importance of prevention through vaccination. IHS was
the first organization in Pakistan that initiated mass
scale vaccinations in 1996 for the public through aggressive
media campaigns that resulted in creating awareness
regarding disease prevention that has slowed down the spread of diseases like Hepatitis B,
Meningitis, etc.
Vaccination camps are
arranged for mass/group vaccinations at public places,
schools, offices, and industrial premises. IHS has
arranged more than five hundred vaccination camps
during the last 10 years in all the four provinces.
