On a regular basis IHS organizes free medical camps for poor
and needy patients some times through its own
resources while at other times in collaboration with
different institutions like the Islamabad Convent School (ICS)
and Rescue 15, Islamabad Police for the residents of
the slums in Islamabad. In the camps organized with ICS
the teaching staff including the sisters and the
students also participate. The medicines for these camps are
donated by school children.
MASJID (Mosque) CLINICS
IHS has been working
on a model to develop free clinics in the mosques. In 1999 the first such clinic was
established in a mosque in Islamabad. Through
these clinics free consultation and medicines are
provided to the deserving patients by IHS doctors.
Philanthropists are encouraged to donate medicines and
equipment for these clinics. IHS teams also collect
trash medicines (left over medicines) from house to
house.

A Masjid clinic is operative in F 8/4, Islamabad. This
clinic is open from Asar to maghrib prayers. Through
the clinic we provide free consultation and treatment
to every one. 15-20 patients are seen at the clinic
every day.
IHS promises to provide free treatment to every
deserving poor person. If you know of any such
patients please
refer him/her to
us now.
IHS also has on elaborate health education program for
the masses, specially the underprivileged and poor.
Health awareness is a very crucial
tool in helping fight disease and misery. The poor
who cannot even afford a single meal, treatment is
impossible and prevention is the only answer.
If you want to contribute towards this
cause you may deposit medicines, equipment or money at IHS
head office in Islamabad or
contact us
online.
